"And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”
Joshua 3:13
“Commitment is when God takes us to another level, to bring us to a higher level of relationship. In this passage, He was teaching His people one of the lessons of faith. The waters weren’t going to part before they got to the place where they needed to cross. They were going to have to step into the water first. Their feet were going to have to get wet. But once they were standing in the water, the flow of the Jordan would stop.
God will often call us to step out in faith and to get our feet wet. We must take these risks of faith if we are to ever see the river parted.”

Reminds me off when Peter stepped out the boat in faith. Or when the woman touched Christs clothes or when the army officers child was ill. That one act of faith. That desire to trust.
Praying for your work Rachel
